All of us we are believers of God but very few of us believe in the power of God. Situations in this world have made many of us to evade God and his commandments. This is because we are in fresh not the spirit.

A good Christian should always seek for the spirit of God because fresh gets succumbed to temptations which is not a case with a person who walks and lives with the spirit of GOD

Now that we are in a Christian life, we should learn to be faithful and according to the bible,

Hebrews 11 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”

The Bible has the most accepted religious definition of faith. However, there is a strong confusion between the words ‘HOPE and FAITH”. Hope means a strong expectation of achieving something for example “I hope to pass my examination”. This means you did the examinations and by faith, ”I shall pass my examinations” meaning that you have no evidence because you haven’t done any examination nor seeing them.

How can a Christian build faith in his life?

Because we have understood the meaning of faith in Hebrews 11, let us look at how we can build a strong faith as Christians in our lives.

1. You need to understand the word of God; you will only understand the word of God by spiritually reading the Bible scriptures. Every day at least read one verse in the Bible recites and meditate, it will make you wise and that is how you will understand it and become a stronger believer with strong faith.

Proverbs 24:3-4 “Through wisdom is an house builded, and by understanding it’s established. And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches”

If you understand God, you become wise, and wisdom cab be seen because you get the knowledge, that we judge and say”you are wise”. The reward of faith is understanding of God and his words.

Once we pray so hard, and live in Spirit, we shall then be faithful to God, to our friends, loved one or relatives and hence living a good Christian life.

2. Let your heart have controlled desires;

we are in a suffering world but through him (Jesus) nothing is impossible between us, whatever you desire in life, God shall give to you so what you need is to control your  heart desires, have a believe that God will provide everything and ask Him with strong faith.

John 16:23 “ And in that day,  ye shall ask me nothing, verily, verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the father in my name, he will give it to you”

This is only possible when you have faith in Him so there is a need to build our faiths by controlling our heart desires so that we do not get tempted to evil things like corruption, stealing the church properties, injustice practices and so many. He is the provider, the Omega and Alpha.

Now, faith is very important in a Christian life and whoever have faith in Him, is a winner.
